This is the eagle as pictured on the Warlord Data Card.

If the base looks a little warped, well, it is. The eagle is a good 8-9" in wingspan and is one hefty palooka. You can fit three normal sized minis in a line on one side of that bad mammajamma's base.

This is one of the earlier Warlord pieces I painted. I had started to outline each individual feather but the timeline was bumped forward forcing me to wash a lot of it. I tried to keep the coloration as true to a Golden Eagle (Aquila Chrysaetos) as possible (no ulterior motives there *wink*). All in all for my first "monster" sized mini I don't think it looks all that bad. If I had to do it over again I'd brighten up the colors much more to give it more contrast.

Since it was so long ago I don't really have a timeline as to when exactly I painted it or what I used on it. I do know it was all Reaper Pro Paints with a lot of Walnut, Chestnut Brown, and Aged Red Brick.
