This is one of those minis you look at the first time and think it's silly. You give it a second glance and begin to note the contours and fine lines. Pretty soon you're painting the thing wondering why you ever thought it was silly in the first place. I normally paint the good girls, but it was a blast to be bad.

Oh, and she's not cross-eyed; I don't know if it was the lighting on the photo pad or what but it didn't pick up her irises correctly. She's looking straight ahead and has really piercing blue eyes with black pupils. She pretty much looks like the witch from Sleeping Beauty (disregarding choice of wardrobe, of course).

She sparked a now-recorded exchange between me and Anne when I was painting it. She had said something about my choice of NMM on the sword blade (I think it looks just dandy) and made a remark that it just didn't look totally natural for some reason.

My immediate response? "She's got two huge freakin' horns on her head; nothing about her is natural. I mean, c'mon, just look at her chest."
