This is an elf coming up on release in a few months for Reaper's Dark Heaven line that I painted for a magazine add.

I decided to go with a non-traditional elven paint scheme (read: no green or blue) and I think it turned out nicely. The tunic was painted with Aged Bone, Polished Bone, Linen White, and Pure White while the armor was Snow Shadow to Ghost White to Pure White; I wanted the two whites to have a very distinctive feel and to give the white a luminous look. The reds are Brown Liner to Mahogany Red to Mahogany/Clear Red highlighted all the way to Clear Yellow. I love the rich red that cam about as a result.

The gold NMM is my usual mixture as is the steel (sword truncated so the image wasn't twice as wide as it was tall).
