This is Shaedra, female paladin from Reaper's Dark Heaven line. She's a beauty with waaaay too many fiddly bits, but I guess I can forgive Werner for it :). It took a long time painting her, and I could've dumped countless more hours in, but I knew I had come to a point where I had to put her down, call her done, and get on with my painting life :).

The phrase on her base is "Fiat iustitia et pereat mundus" which is Latin for "Let Justice be done, even should the world perish!" Quite a paladinly thing to say, I believe.

Anne Foerster ("Vaitalla") thought I should keep the left leg as a text-book Foerster NMM example (I painted it, but she taught me, so I'll run with calling it her style :) ). Jen Haley, eminent mini painter and critic, looked at it and said, "Hm, you know, I think our John doesn't suck anymore," which is pretty darned high praise coming from her, I think.
