This is the first NMM (Non-Metallic Metal) piece I ever did. For those of you not in the know, NMM is the process of using shades of paint to simulate reflective armor. In this case, it was to give his bluish-black armor a lacquered impression. While rough for a first try I think it really turned out well. This miniature is the one currently being used for the Warlord Data Card.

If memory serves me correctly he was painted around the same time as the Beastman was. This is an all Reaper Pro Paint mini; the armor is Gunmetal and Black highlighted with Dragon White, the gold is various browns and whites added to the base Gold, and the purple (hey, it's the studio army colors, don't look at me) was a mixture of the different Pro Paint purples and reds.
