Musedandabused.com collects emails on a voluntary basis to allow individuals who want auction updates but do not want to use the RSS feed a way of keeping up-to-date on the latest offerings without having to repetitively check the site. Musedandabused.com will never sell, share, disseminate, or give out the stored addresses. No other information is obtained or stored when an email is sent (i.e. IP address); once both email addresses are checked to ensure they are matching (and checked to ensure validity) they are stored along with a number used for easy tracking (auto-incremented, non-information holding).

At any time a user can remove themselves from the list, either by using the automated system or contacting Musedandabused.com directly. A history of that email address being used will of course be stored on mail servers if emails were sent during a time when the address was active on the list, but no permanent or historical saving of the information is kept by the website.

Older versions of this website utilized comment features that required user signups and email verification. Since this system is no longer in use, all such information has been erased. As with everything, Musedandabused.com will not keep archived copies of the information, and any such information stored at the time of the site changeover has been deleted from the database.
